"After six months since coming into power, the Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama today maintains that the interim government will continue to build a nation free of corruption.
Speaking at the Arya Pratinidhi Sabha Convention this afternoon, Bainimarama while thanking the Sabha for its support stresses that that they will remain on their course. Bainimarama also thanked the Sabha for believing that the People’s Charter for Change and Progress should be the working mechanism to help steer Fiji from its current political impasse." fijivillage.com
It is time for the Prime Minister to wake up to reality.
NO NATION CAN EVER BE FREE OF CORRUPTION. MAN IS SINFUL & CORRUPT IN NATURE. THE ONLY KINGDOM THAT IS CORRUPTION FREE IS HEAVEN WHERE GOD DWELLS.
To remove corruption entirely is a HOPELESS DREAM. It will never and can never happen as long as man is left to his own devises without the help of an omnipotent GOD! The only way to have a corrupt free society is for people to be reformed and renewed from within. This can only be done when Jesus Christ truly lives and abides in a persons heart. A true Christian is one that fears God. When one has a healthy fear(reverantial awe/respect/regard/honour) of God, one has no desire to be corrupt or engage in corrupt practices.
A corrupt free society can never be a reality. What the Illegal Interim Prime Minister is looking for is a utopian society where everyone is PERFECT and does not do anything wrong.
He either refuses to see REALITY , or is DELUDED into thinking a mere mortal like himself can turn Fiji into a corruption free society.
I would like to expressly state that the CLEAN UP FIJI campaign that the Illegal Interim Regime is embarking on will only put a bandaid over what is a cancerous and malignant wound.
This clean up campaign will go on forever because when ever he removes so called "corrupt people" and puts into position his own, it will not be long before they themselves will become corrupt.
Can the Illegal Interim Prime Minister please tell the public about the corrupt practice of the missing FMF Regimental funds? It is common knowledge about the person/s responsible for it's abuse and yet the IIPM is not willing to dig into that corruption and take the person/s involved to task?
What about the murderers of the three men, Verebasaga, Rabaka & Malasebe? Why have the cases gone on for so long with no one prosecuted? Is that not a corrupt practice. If the IIPM is implicated in obstructing the course of justice, then he should be REMOVED!
