I AM A CHRISTIAN

When I say i'm a Christian, I'm not shouting, "I'm clean living!"

But I'm whispering, "I was lost but now I'm forgiven."

When I say I'm a Christian, I don't speak of this with pride

I'm confessing that I stumble & need Christ to be my guide.

When I say I'm a Christian, I'm not trying to be strong

I'm professing that I am weak & need His strength to carry on.

When I say I'm a Christian, I'm not bragging of success
I'm admitting I have failed & need God to clean my mess.

When I say I'm a Christian, I'm not claiming to be perfect.

My flaws are far too visible but God believes I'm worth it.

When I say I'm a Christian, I still feel the sting of pain.

I have my share of headaches & heartaches so I call upon His name.

When I say I'm a Christian, I'm not holier than thou.

I'm just a simple sinner who received Grace somehow.

And when I say I am a Christian, that does not mean I will be silent

I will stand , I will speak, I will blog, becauseI believe what God says in the Bible

When I say I am a Christian, my Bible says that when the righteous rule, people will rejoice

But when evil men rule, people have no voice.That this government was not our choice..........

And I am a Christian who has a right to stand,to pray and speak God's Word

To declare God's righteousness, because I really am a Christian!
