KEEP THE PEACE!

We are living in exciting times! Exciting because we are about to see & hear unfolding in the weeks and months ahead the culmination of the battle between the two opposing forces, those who vehemently oppose the coup and those who are ardent supporters of the coup.

The lines are marked, the boundaries drawn. One side has over stepped the mark. The unions in their bid to seek for justice in their wage claims, have stirred up a hornets nest of monumentous proportions for those seeking to use the unions stand as leverage to push forward their agenda.

Violence begets violence. The path of peaceful resistance will always be the better option.

The greater ANTI COUP public who advocate violence to further their cause will always meet with violence. This is not the way to go!

There is a segement of coup opposers who propose the peaceful way. Blogging, peaceful strikes, peace marches, prayer gatherings etc. will always achieve the goals desired.

I urge those contemplating using the union strikes as a means to an end, please reconsider your stand. Let good sense prevail. We have a right to be angry. We have a right to speak out at injustice. We have a right to blog our pain away. We have a right to be heard. However we must be careful that our rights do not cause harm and danger to others.

The nurses have stated that they have no political agenda, but there are others out there who will use this situation to their advantage. The army and police are manning the entries to picket sites and discouraging outsiders from entering the premises.

The nurses don't want trouble. They do need our unwavering support. They do need cash and kind. They do need prayers. Let's support the nursing fraternity.........PEACEFULLY!

We are tired of peaceful means. Did not the Lord tell Samson to arise and smite the Phillistines? I mean literally. Was not Saul rejected by God when Saul showed mercy and did not kill the king of the Amelakites? Sometimes we need to stand and be counted.

Yes thats very true, however we must remember that we live in the age of GRACE! Jesus could have fought back when they strung cruelly on the cross. I mean he could have called the legions of heaven down to destroy the roman soldiers. But His way was the path of PEACE. He did not fight back. In fact He said, " if your brother strikes you on the right cheek, give him your left cheek as well."
OUCH! buts the way it is if we are to be true Christians in this fight. I mean, I have times when I just want to slap some people (well more than just slap) in the IIG! But what will become of that. I cannot fight properly from a cell in the camp. But I can fight in PRAYER which is the GREATEST weapon against this Illegal Interim Regime!
I still choose the path that Christ asks us to follow, the path of PEACEFUL RESISTANCE!

True but that was Christ. I Tim 5:20 we are told to "rebuke them that sin before all". This means standing up to them. Tit 2:15 ..."rebuke will all authority. Let no man despise thee".1 Cor 9: 26."...so fight I, not as one that beateth the air".

At times we need to fight to overcome evil.

I do get your point. Yes, we must rebuke sin. I do agree with that. Yes we must be vocal and we must let them know that they are worng. I agree with that. I don't agree with any violent confrontations though. What i mean is non violent physical confrontations. They may want to beat us up but we must not fight back......
They may beat us and pound us but we must not retaliate....thats what i mean.
