Dear Lord,

Hear our humble cry

OHear our humble plea

Our nation is in a shambles

We are left in the hands of vandals

What can we do

What can we say

Our hearts cry out OILEI!

Lord can you see

The many wrong things they have done to me

They have taken away my right to speak

They have taken away my DEMOCRACY

They have taken away my chiefs

All we have left are a bunch of THIEVES

They are killing some of us

They took away Nimi, Saki & Te

They beat them, assulted them, left them dead

These people Lord are sick in the head....

They bring torment & suffering and a trail of red

Blood that has been shed

Our voices cry out OILEI!

Justice, mercy and peace are no more

Our hearts are tender, yes raw

We've been trampled on, hated and abused

But we will stand up

We will rise

We will lift our hands to the sky

We will call unto our King

He will answer, He will repay
